Dr. Sethunyane Tumelo Innocent is a vibrant and energetic young man who is passionate about the law and robustly executing clients mandate and is solution oriented.
Dr. Sethunyane is born and bred in a small village called Vrede, which falls under Moses Kotane Local Municipality in the North West Province. Dr. Sethunyane obtained a Law degree (LLB) at the North West University (NWU) in 2018. His LLB research focused on analyzing corporate social responsibility of mining companies in Swartruggens (North West Province). Dr. Sethunyane also completed his Masters of Law with Mercantile Law (LLM) at NWU in 2021. His LLM research was titled “A statutory regulatory analysis of the accountability of the Municipal Manager and corporate governance measures in Mahikeng Local Municipality”.
Dr. Sethunyane served and successfully completed his practical vocational work training under the name and style of ME Tlou Attorneys & Associates while also doing his LLM degree. This shows Dr. Sethunyane’s commitment and dedication to his work. On 29 July 2022, Dr. Sethunyane was admitted as attorney of the High Court. Dr. Sethunyane continued to work under the name and style of Me Tlou Attorneys & Associates post his admission as an attorney of the High Court and continue to work in association with ME Tlou Attorneys & Associates even as a director of his own firm, Sethunyane Attorneys Inc.
Dr. Sethunyane also served a radio presenter at Mahikeng FM, a local community radio station as a presenter doing a legal show, among others. Dr. Sethunyane is passionate about accountability, service delivery, social responsibility and the upliftment of rural communities.
